Serving as both the new back-end of Zenodo.org and a standalone institutional repository solution, InvenioRDM supports research communities, data sharing and availability compliance, and researcher credit by employing a robust and widely-adopted metadata standard, powerful search features, and ORCiD- and ROR-enhanced creator and contributor fields. This InvenioRDM workshop will provide repository managers, developers, system/software administrators, decision makers, and librarians the opportunity to familiarize themselves with both the open source repository framework and the active community that supports it. This full-day workshop will feature opportunities for hands-on installation work for developers, as well as presentations on local customizations and community-benefiting software enhancements, and opportunities for interactive discussion. Throughout the day, we will increase participants’ knowledge about the InvenioRDM framework and about how to become involved in this dynamic community. InvenioRDM’s strong multi-national collaboration of academic, research, funding, and industry partners from Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America is eager to share with new collaborators the ways in which it can work with them to increase transparency, provide visibility to all researchers, and support sustainability. |
