Repositories - together with external peer review services - offer a compelling new model for diamond OA, which could reduce both technical and cost burdens of publishing by distributing the publishing functions across different services. This interactive session will bring together several panelists to discuss the specific challenges for repositories in participating in the diamond ecosystem and document new functionalities that will be needed for repositories to support this new role. Audience participation will be encouraged during the session in order to hear the perspectives of members of the Open Repository community. The panel will also be an opportunity to provide input to the COAR Notify team about what resources would be helpful for the repository community in order to participate more fully in the diamond ecosystem.
