Diana Vicher García has a Phd in Political and Social Sciences (Public Administration) with an Honorable Mention from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She has a post-Phd in Financial Economics at the UNAM, Faculty of Economics. She currently works as full-time research professor in the public management department at the Guanajuato University (Mexico). In this University she also Coordinate the Master in Development, Politics and Government Has participated in several international conferences and seminars (CLAD, Shanghai Administration Institute, NASPAA, OECD) on public administration in Latin America. And likewise, she has organized national and international academic meetings to contribute to the analysis and discussion of classic and current issues around public administration. And has also participated in the Annual OECD Meeting Network of Schools in Public Administration as well as in activities of IIAS like Mexico’s International Conference 2012 (and online to some events of relevant matters for public service). Research -She is recognized as a National Researcher by the National System of Researchers (SNI), of the Mexico´s National Council for Science and Technology (CONAHCYT). -She has participated in various national proyects and international conferences and seminars on public administration in Latin America. And likewise, she has organized national and international academic meetings to contribute to the analysis and discussion of classic and current issues around public administration. Publications -She has published three books of personal authorship, various articles, book chapters and coordinated publications on the issues that emerge from her two lines of research, the reform of public administration and theory of public administration. |
