Topic: Authors do not receive an automatic e-mail after a review was entered

We have enabled the feature to send an e-mail notification to the corresponding authors when a new review is entered.

However, authors do not receive any messages.

How can we solve this problem?

  • Please check the e-mail settings again:
    Overview => Settings => E-mail Settings
    The option "Want to Send an E-Mail to the Authors of the Reviewed Contribution?" has to be set to "Yes".
  • Authors will only receive a message if the review results are already visible to the authors, otherwise this message would be confusing (“I got an e-mail about a new review but cannot see any review…”).
