Are reviewers informed automatically about submissions waiting to be reviewed?

Does ConfTool send e-mails automatically to reviewers when I assign submissions to them?

ConfTool does not send automatic e-mails to reviewers at the moment you assign a paper to a reviewer for reviewing. This is a deliberate design decision: We do not think it is a good idea to possibly send many separate e-mails to each reviewer, but rather to inform them in one e-mail that contains all submissions ready for review after the assignment process is complete.

Please use the bulk e-mail function to inform all reviewers in one go after having assigned all submissions for reviewing.
