Mesa Redonda

Resumen de la sesión

Teaching cultural diplomacy presents a myriad of pedagogical challenges that educators must navigate skillfully. One such challenge involves fostering critical thinking among students, encouraging them to question assumptions and analyze power dynamics inherent in cultural interactions. Furthermore, teaching cultural diplomacy in intercultural environments adds another layer of complexity, as instructors must navigate cultural differences and sensitivities while fostering inclusive dialogue and mutual understanding. Sharing experiences and best practices among educators can be invaluable in overcoming these challenges and promoting effective teaching strategies. By reflecting on pedagogical approaches, leveraging critical thinking tools, and sharing experiences in diverse settings, educators can enhance their ability to teach cultural diplomacy effectively and empower students to become informed and engaged global citizens.
